I was born in Senegal. For 35 years I have lived and worked in Germany — 35 years of professional experience, 27 of them in executive leadership, and 15 as a CEO.

I learned Western leadership systems from the inside. Not from books, but from boardrooms, restructurings, performance reviews and real accountability. Those systems are structured, disciplined and systematic — and they cannot simply be copy-pasted into African reality.

Africa moves differently. In many African markets speed is not optional, it is survival. Young people do not need theory; they need opportunity. And opportunity is not created by slogans — it is created by leaders who build access to education, to strong energy environments, to digital infrastructure, and above all to disciplined leadership.

That is why I am bringing my experience back: not to preach Western leadership, but to translate it, adapt it, and make it practical for African execution. Because leadership is not about position. It is about responsibility — and responsibility builds trust.
